My favourite vacation
On this page I will discuss my absolute favourite vacation. It will be about my 1-week class trip to a camp in Alfsee when I was still in Germany. We had so much fun!!! Unfortunately
- there were no pictures with me -.-
- if there were pics, they were all ugly…T.T
- THIS WAS OUR LAST class vacation..TT.TT
These were the negative aspects, but the positive things were much better!!
- I could get along pretty well with my mortal enemy!
- the teachers acted more than nice.(emphasis on ACTED)
- the students ruled, because we decided what to do!
- I had the FUN OF MY LIFE !!!! XD
We did many things on this five days and everyday a new adventure waited for us. For further information just look it up on the Alfsee DHJ homepage.
First day
On the day we arrived we had to wait a long time until the rooms were empty. That is why we made a little walk to see the big Alfsee lake with DJ Tomekk (this is our nickname for class teacher). The lake was awesome. I never saw such a breathtaking piece of nature before, besides the very annoying mosquitos, which are almost everywhere where students go for class trips. In the evening the whole class had fun with trampoline jumping. The rest of the day we made our beds, explored the cafeteria food and the campus and prepared for the great day tomorrow.
Second day – day of the city rally
This day was tough. In the morning we got questions on the paper and were divided into small groups. Our mission was to follow the map and answer the questions on our way. We walked from 10 o clock in the morning until 2 o clock noon!!! We walked around 1o to 25 kilometres included wrong ways and going back.
However after our little walk we all were exhausted and wanted rest in our rest. Luckily this was what we did after our experience. In the evening the responsible people told us the results of our rally. Unfortunately our team did not win, but everybody got Ice-Cream!!!!
Third day – day of rest and peace
On this day we woke up late played games with our teachers. At about noon we all lined up to be divided into groups for our following archery lessons. This was so fun because
- we had a competition for best archer in our class
- while one group practised, meanwhile the other were busy with either table tennis or
- playing poker
Fourth day – more fun with canoeing!
Already in the morning of this day everybody was ready for practising canoeing. First we had to listen to the theory of canoeing, but then we could try by ourself. Short time after getting into the boats we all had fun. We practised the whole day.
Fifth day – canoeing on a real river!
In the morning everbody got on the rented bikes to ride to the river where we would canooeing afer yesterday`s practise.It was awesome. The environment was bizzare. However at half of the route we stopped for a disgusting delicious lunch. Then we continued until we arrived the end. We packed all our things on the big car and rode our bikes home.
Sixth day – the LAST day
This day is the saddest one. Although we had much fun in the morning during our water ski adventure, we had to go back to school this noon. Nevertheless, water skieing is much more difficult than I thought. Even standing up from your water skieis is difficult and than the first edge!!! I only once could make a whole round around the lake. It was very fun to watch a video one of my classmates did
afterwards. Unfortunately we had to leave after this funny experience.
Back in the ÖG, my old school I was wondering how fast (I quote Ms. Kristen:)
time was fleeting
because I noticed I had enough time to finish reading a whole 300-page book, although I seemingly had not enough time to do that. Also our whole class celebrated this class trip as our last class trip with this class teacher. We even decided that after tenth grade we will repeat this trip because it was so fun and it should be the funniest last class trip together because after tenth grade we would split up into new classes deace.gifpending on what we wanted to study.
